Senior Spotlight-Class of 2022-Erin Plumb

After our consultation with Erin and her family, I knew this session was going to be a TON of fun.  Her mom has the most infectious laugh and her dad was joking around with her too.  This makes the session memorable for both parents and seniors.  I still remember my senior portraits (EH 20 years ago!) and how my sisters were both there with me and my mother.  This session will be a wonderful memory for all of them for years to come.  When they look back her her album and the images we created for her, I hope the laughs and feeling of joy come back to them each time.  I know it will for me.

We started out at the studio and created images right around the property here before heading out to find some country looks.  She wanted to include her American flag and some fall flowers to finish off the country look at this location.

Once finishing there, we drove out south of town to capture more images with grass and sun.  One of the best parts of her look with her tennis shoes was dad picking her up on his back to carry her over some grass and clippings so they wouldn't get dirty.  He even used his shirt to lay down so she could sit on the ground.  Now that is love and dedication.

BUT we always save the best for last in images because her love of cars needed to be shown.  Her dad's car needed to be a highlight and her beautiful prom dress.  i mean you can't go wrong with a beautiful dress and a fast car.  We played around and captured images of her by and in the car.  The last images were the most fun and everyone got involved in those.  The look that she wanted was a back country road with the car in the middle and trees overhanging.  The cars that drove by probably thought we were crazy. Dad would back the car in the road and then mom would run behind, throw her dress up as dad started burning the wheels!  We only had to do it a few times, but we caught it.  We all were laughing so hard by the end, but the results were worth it!
