Cohen came in for his senior portraits last fall.  Most seniors get their portraits taken between June-November.  September and October are quickly becoming the favorite times b/c it's not as hot in Michigan as it is in July and August, and you can still get the late sun as you do in those months.  Cohen wanted to create some special images centered around his fishing and hunting hobbies.  I knew the perfect location after the studio to capture these images without having to drive too far out. 

After growing up in Northern Michigan, I know how important hunting is to people. My husband and son love to hunt.  Being able to capture this for Cohen and give him images to look back on and remember the fond times he had during his high school and senior year is very important to me.  It's not just about capturing photos of you when your a senior, it's about capturing the things you love, letting you know they are important and matter, and securing that part of your legacy for years to come.
