Class of 2022 Senior Portrait, Lily Beebe, Jackson Michigan

One of my most asked questions is

What do you do for senior portraits?

And my answer is...whatever your heart desires!

All of my senior portraits are customized to each senior.  You want something unique and different, I try to brainstorm with you and think of ways to give you something special.  Your senior portraits are not just simple pics you take to say your a senior.  They are ways to show off your last 4 years(or more of accomplishments)

This session with Lily was filled with fun, old cars, track pics with smoke grenades, and some all together laughs.

She got a bonus that her older sister who is a phenomenal at doing makeup, was able to do that for her photos.  She nailed this look for Lily.

Wanting to try something different, I finally visited a place in Jackson where I have only passed a few times.  i'm always nervous about trespassing or taking my clients places they are not allowed to go so trying something new makes me nervous.  I'm sure Lily can attest that this 37 year old was shaking like a scared child when I went up to ask the gentleman who owns the garage if we could shoot there.  (ALWAYS GET PERMISSION FRIENDS!)

He was super nice, and she totally had looks that were retro and went perfectly with the cars there.  Some of my favorite photos of Lily are by the Pepsi signs and the old pink car.

After we left the garage, we continued on to find Lily more nature, water, and flowers.  Many of my senior girls want flowers in their photos, but Michigans high heat summer usually has those not blooming all the time.  BUT if a senior wants flowers, I find them flowers:)  I think we found quite a few amazing flowers and I just love how they turned out.

One of my favorites is the black and white that seem to look like shes in a misty fairy tale land.  This is when I ask my clients to go into something random b/c I have a vision!  We tried to dodge mosquitos as quick as we could.

Finally we finished up at her high school track to capture some images of a sport she loves!

Lily is headed off to Michigan State University in the fall.  I Know she will do such great things in this world and I can't wait to see what her future holds!
