Senior Portrait Spotlight-Emma Grace

Senior Portraits for me becomes more than just snapping a few photos of a teen in a nice outfit. It becomes about showcasing what makes the soul of that individual teen light up with happiness. For each teen, this is different. It could be a sport, it could be reading, it could be physics. Whatever that is, it's a huge deal for me to bring that out in each of them.

This is the case with Miss Emma Grace.

I have gotten to photograph Emma over the last year and a half. She is also a member of the Class of 2018 Senior Dream Team. It has been such a pleasure to photograph her, but also see her grow into this beautiful and intelligent young lady.

Senior portraits are a chance for me to get to know these kids and see what amazing things they accomplish!

I can't wait to see what Emma accomplishes in her future. I know she is gonna be shooting for the stars and will make it.

With Emma's Elite Senior session we were able to do a variety of looks from soft and floral, to edgy and fashionable. It's hard to pick a favorite b/c she pulled off each look so flawlessly!

It was quiet a bit of fun when we went to a local parking garage and I found a shopping cart. I think she thought I was crazy when I said "Why don't you just climb in that and I will push you over to the best light!"

It is always such a great time doing something outside of the box.

But the session wouldn't be complete without the fairy tale ending of a beautiful evening gown and a girl in her garden. There is just something that lights me up when I get to photograph a beautiful dress, on a beautiful girl, in a beautiful setting. :) Couldn't ask for more!
