Class of 2020-Emily Sierakowski

Senior Sessions in Michigan typically run from the Summer before their senior year, Usually starting in June, and can go all the way into November for those who want Fall Colors.  I love the fall season in Michigan because you can get some amazing images with the beautiful fall leaves. My Session with Emily Sierakowski produced some of the best fall colors all in one session.

From bright Yellow, to Orange, to Red we were able to find so many fabulous fall colors all within about a 5 mile radius from my home studio.  “My favorite time was playing in the leaves.” And this could have been because dad went and handpicked a whole bunch of red leaves so we had enough on the ground since Ella Sharp had literally just mowed the lawn and cut up all the leaves that had fallen already.  Dad was a trooper and able to help us create a perfect moment for Emily!

As senior year is coming to a close at home, Emily is headed off to attend Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame and study biomedical engineering!

Her favorite part of senior year was cheering on their high school football team all season.  Her advice for the upcoming class of 2021 would be “Don’t take anything for granted. Do the work, even though graduation is happening no matter what, don’t slack off.”

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak and the Stay Home order, Emily is missing walking across the stage with her best friends! Something that will for sure be hard to replace. But in the meantime she is spending lots of time on Facetime with her friends while at home.  “Keep working out! You’re not supposed to gain 15lbs until next year seniors!”

A few fun facts about Emily,  She has tap danced for 13 years(I love tap!). Her grandma has to force her to wear other colors besides Navy.  She loves Mango Mochi Ice Cream. YUM!

If Emily had a superpower it would be to read minds.  She is not a fan of not knowing things so this would make her life much easier!

And probably one of my favorite answers.  Emily’s spirit animal would be a corgi because it has short legs, cute butt and always finishes off their dance with a smile.

I know Emily is a beautiful girl inside and out and has a great future ahead of her!  Loved her session and her images, check them out and then leave her some love!

Check out her whole session in the video below!
